Camp Letter

This week in Rimu the year 5 & 6 Students have been writing camp letters. These letters go to a parent that came to help at camp here is mine I was writing to Jodi.

Dear Jodi

Hi there Jodi. I wanted to thank you for being at Living Springs Camp this year. It was really fun and having you there to help just made it that tiny bit better Thank You so so much Jodi. It was really Appreciated.

At camp I really enjoyed the pool and the water slide. I enjoyed the water slide because it was  really slippery and I kept going down the hill at the end of the slide. And I also loved the farm park because the animals were cute and funny especially the donkeys and goats.

What I remember most about Camp is the initiatives and the Monorail. I remember the initiatives because it was fun and I enjoyed all the set tasks and activities because they help you learn and practise all your teamwork skills.  And the Monorail because it was scary and I liked how it went really fast.

And here are a few Questions. Did you like the food provided at camp?    Did you enjoy helping out at Camp?   What was your favorite thing we did at the Farm park?  And what would you rate your camp experience?

In the end I think camp was 8/10 and I felt that it was a really fantastic last  junior school  camp. So Thank You so so so much for helping out at camp. And I think that our 2017 camp has been a great success.

Week 8

This week I made a Volcano,First what you do is make a base with modeling clay.Then we let it dry.After it was dry we put in one tablespoon of baking soda and two to five drops of food coloring and one sqirt of dishwash liqid.Finally we put in quater cup of Vinegar to activate it.

But dont stop Pouring the vinegar other wise it wont explode as well.

I wonder how much baking soda and vinergar it would take to explode out of a bucket?

Jamie Duff came to school !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today we had Jamie Duff come to our School.He Races Sprint Cars and he has Raced in Astralia,New Zealand & America.I got him to sign my Chrome book case.Heres me by the truck.

Week 6

This week I went to pal training and I also made a bird feeder.

I made a bird feeder for wild eyes with Chloe it was fun and we made one food one and one sweet water one.And at PAL training we played lots of games and learned how coach and be leaders.Me Mika Jedi Parwin Julia GraceK and Hunter the only Boy.

Week 5

This week in Rimu some of us have been to zones for swimming sports and had our first assembly.

We also did the straw building challenge you had to build a bridge out of straws and tape
